This page explains what cookies and similar browser storage AeroWealth uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files saved in your browser by sites you visit. We also use related browser storage (such as localStorage) for the same purposes. In this policy "cookies" means both.

2. We use essential cookies only

AeroWealth does not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, cross-site trackers, or behavioural analytics profiling. We do not sell or share cookie data with advertisers or data brokers.

3. The cookies we actually set

Authentication & session (first-party, essential)

When you sign in, our authentication provider stores a session token in your browser so you don't have to log in on every page. Without this, signed-in features cannot work.

Set by: AeroWealth (via our backend auth provider).
Purpose: keep you signed in, remember your active scenario.
Lifetime: session + refresh token (typically up to a few weeks; cleared on sign-out).

App preferences (first-party, essential)

We use browser localStorage to remember your inputs, scenarios, and UI preferences (such as the active scenario tab) so the app feels responsive between visits.

Set by: AeroWealth.
Purpose: persist your in-app preferences locally.
Lifetime: until you clear browser storage or sign out.

Bot protection — Cloudflare Turnstile (third-party, essential)

On the sign-in and sign-up pages we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-respecting alternative to reCAPTCHA, to block automated abuse. Turnstile may set cookies to verify that a real browser is making the request.

Set by: Cloudflare.
Purpose: distinguish humans from bots on auth pages.

Payments — Stripe (third-party, essential when used)

When you start a Pro checkout or open the billing portal, you are handed off to Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies to process the payment securely, prevent fraud, and remember your session inside their checkout. Stripe cookies are only set when you interact with a checkout or billing page — not on browsing.

Purpose: process payments, prevent fraud.

4. What we do NOT use

No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or DoubleClick.
No Meta / Facebook Pixel.
No TikTok, LinkedIn, or X (Twitter) tracking pixels.
No advertising or remarketing cookies — we don't run ads of any kind.
No behavioural analytics (e.g. PostHog, Mixpanel, Hotjar, FullStory, Amplitude).

5. Controlling cookies

You can clear or block cookies at any time via your browser settings. Blocking the essential cookies above will prevent you from signing in or completing payment — the rest of the marketing pages will still work.

If we ever add non-essential cookies (for example, product analytics or marketing), we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before they load.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as we add or change tooling. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
